Keep Ya Head Up

The lyrics I’m using are from a rap song called “Keep Ya Head Up”. The main idea is he wants women to be appreciated more and for them to be respected; in this rap he’s talking about how he doesn't like the way women are being treated. He’s rapping for justice; in this video he’s saying how not all guys are the same .

The vocabulary word that is being used is “Rhyme Scheme.” Tupac is using the same words more than once and he’s rhyming.  I really like this rap because it talks about women being treated equal. Tupac is reaching out to those women who have been abused, cheated on, and other bad things.

This rap brings out the rights women need & should have. It also talks about the long way they have come since old times when they weren’t able to vote, work, and other important things. The vocabulary word “rhyme scheme” makes this poem a great one . I enjoy listening to this song. Tupac was such a great writer/rapper.
